Smith & Sons
In 1985, Mike Maynard-Smith founded Smith & Sons Construction Services, originally known as Smith & Sons Builders Ltd. After years of working for construction companies that fell short in delivering the care, commitment, and quality clients deserved, Mike decided it was time to make a change. Driven by a passion for excellence, he set out to create a company where exceptional service and craftsmanship would always come first.
Since its inception, SSCS remains a family-run construction firm offering quality construction services in East London, Havering and Essex. We have hundreds of happy clients and are responsible for many successful projects in the local area.

SSCS has continued to grow and adapt over the years into what it is today when Mike and his son, Isaac Maynard-Smith, decided to go into business together and expand their service offerings.

Through the construction arm, we are able to provide a quality service to clients, turning dream homes into reality. We also work on our own projects, developing land and run-down properties, creating beautiful homes for the local community.​
